In this year, planned to open new feedlots in the city of Stepnogorsk and the village of Krasny Yar, Akmola region, Khabar 24 news agency reports.
According to information, feedlots in Stepnogorsk and the village of Krasny Yar will be able to accommodate up to 25 thousand head of cattle. The same, but already in 4 districts of the region, will also appear in the coming year, with a capacity of up to 30 thousand heads. This will increase the livestock by at least 15%, experts are sure. Now in the region about 450 thousand heads of cattle is 5% more than a year earlier.
Another important task is noted to provide processing enterprises with the necessary volume of raw materials. For example, dairies are now operating at only 60% of the capacity. To this end, in 2020, the regional leadership plans to implement a number of investment projects.
“With the implementation and commissioning of new commodity-dairy farms, which will give us an increase of 40 thousand tons of gross milk production, which will increase the load up to 90%. Today, the average load level of our meat processing enterprises is 75%, and we set the task to increase them and bring them to 95%, ”commented the deputy head of the regional Department of Agriculture.
